Focaccia Bread has been a family favourite for years now. My son Liam makes it too and we love it. It can be plain or add a variety of toppings. These can go from simple Olive oil, rosemary and salt to thyme, basil, roasted onions, cheese, tomatoes, slices of sausage. Anything! As with all breads, the secret ingredient is patience so give this a go and enjoy.

Don’t be put off by the word stew, this takes approx 25-30 minutes so is ideal for that mid-week meal that doesn’t take long, tastes great and doesn’t come out of the microwave. You don’t even need to peel the potatoes, I mean come on how easy is this!! If you don’t try this one then you are missing out.

Bread has been a stumbling block for me for years. I have used different recipes and had varying results. I have made some Foccacia bread with amazing results but then I have also made some bread that was heavy enough to sink a battleship! I fell across the below recipe and gave it a go and boom it worked amazingly. Nothing beats that fresh bread smell and taste. Try this one and, I promise, you will not be disappointed.
This is a proper treat meal. You know you’ve been a good girl or boy if you get served this for your Sunday meal. The original meal didn’t have a giant Yorkie but as Emma fluttered her eyes and said “is there a Yorkshire pudding with it?” how could I not! She is a proper Yorkshire fan, it was a Sunday, and she had been a good girl, so I added the Yorkshire pudding.
This is a nice “end of the working week” meal. It doesn’t take much time or thankfully effort !! The Panko breadcrumbs give it a proper crispy finish. It’s simple, tasty and makes a nice change from a boring tea in front of the rugby on a Friday night !!
